We are delighted to announce that Dr. Denise Findlay has earned her PhD in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University (SFU)!
Denise, a Sḵwx̱wú7mesh scholar practitioner from the village of Xwemélch’stn, has focused her research on integrating Sḵwx̱wú7mesh knowledges with Indigenous contemplative educational theories and practices to cultivate educator and practitioner wisdom and presence.
In addition to her academic accomplishments, Denise has launched 4Paddles Education, an online platform offering diverse educational programs designed to enhance skills and knowledge, while providing flexible learning paths.
